Biography & Experience

I was born in Connecticut and had been fascinated by video games since I was 4. During most of my childhood, I lived in and visited places such as South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, & even far out into Australia. Having been there for such a long time, I got to learn so much about the far-eastern world. At around 10, I moved to Michigan, but moved to New Jersey at 14, and spent my high school years there.

It was around that time period that I went touring down south and looking at possible colleges to attend. That was when I came across High Point University, which was the only one of the colleges I looked at that had a major dedicated to game design. I applied there under the "early action" term and was accepted.

I am currently a junior at High Point, and my options as to what I exactly want to do with game design are still broadening. In order to fulfill credit requirements, I had to take a multitude of communications courses, game design-related and otherwise. But however I turn out, I feel that if there is a role I can take on that is needed, I shall gladly do so. So far, I have worked with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Audacity, ProTools, & the Valve Hammer editor (a map-making tool) to certain extents. This was all for a total of 5 college semesters.
